Korean American Family Service Center

Our counseling, education and advocacy programs for individuals and families in the New York Tri-State area are provided in a culturally and linguistically appropriate setting.”

“We are one of the only programs in New York City that offers comprehensive case management services, trauma-informed psychotherapy, financial assistance and food assistance under one roof. Each client is given individualized care and assessed for a full range of social services including legal advocacy, emergency shelter and relocation, employment assistance, financial assistance, emergency food, entitlement counseling, short-term trauma informed therapy, and information and referral services. Safe Horizon
“Safe Horizon is a victim assistance nonprofit that has been standing with victims of violence and abuse in New York City since 1978.  We provide assistance, advocacy and support to victims who have experienced domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, youth homelessness and other crimes.” 

Sakhi for South Asian Women

Violence Intervention Program
Violence Intervention Program, Inc. (VIP) was founded in 1984 to address the growing prevalence of domestic abuse and family violence in the Latino community.  In just over 30 years, VIP has become a $3.4M organization with eight distinct programs providing services to over 10,000 New York state residents.  While our underlying mission is to serve Latina victims, our programs encompass concepts that resonate with victims from all cultural backgrounds─empowerment, self-determination, and cultural competency.  Immigrants of all ethnic backgrounds have established close ties to VIP.”
